Unhappy 02 mondeo tdci fuel pump fault

Hi all,

I bought a tdci mondeo last month and all was fine, until last week when 2 mins into my journey the engine judderred like it ran out of fuel, cut out & died. It won't start again. I have had it started with easy start (apologies) but thats it. I have followed threads on here and replaced the cam sensor. no joy. had diagnostics done - £70 later: faults were fuel pump and injectors. replaced pump near fuel tank - nothing. would the faulty pump be reason the car won't start (one on engine) - as am worried about throwing money at it blindly. any thoughts or help greatly appreciated.

also I dont have the remote fob. can this effect the immobiliser coming into play as I have replaced the battery and getting nothing from master key??

yours confused

cheers

steve
