My stepdads had a play today whilst ive been at work and im happy to report it starts but it cuts out again lol
He said it seams like the spark is really weak so im going to try my coil off the 3i and see if that improves the spark if it does ill buy myself a new one if not ill have to move onto the next thing but im not going to be able to do anything to the car now till friday as im working away down at lyneham again
