The original part, FINIS number 6539215 is obsolete, but there is a replacement part that your dealer should be able to find. Unfortunately not many of them seem to know how to use their computer properly and give up.
Ask them to do an OSI search. It should bring up a new part number 6854781 which I believe is still available.
However, I'm not convinced this is your problem as this sensor shouldn't cause the car to cut out, although it would make it hard to drive. If this part was faulty it wouldn't make any difference if the car was hot or cold either.
Halfords sell a Gunson fault code reader for about £25 that you can plug in to a diagnostic socket which is near the passenger side strut top. I suggest you get one of those and it should tell you which sensor is faulty. Otherwise you risk getting a new TPS and having exactly the same problem.
