Better resale, more eye catching, more exclusive. On the subject of power IIRC the head and turbo is also different.
If in a postition to buy both, it HAS to be an RS over a modded ST. How much would you have to spend to match an RS?
If the modded ST has the legs in a straight line, spend a couple of quid and wallop it!
i had an st for over a year and got to 320bhp ish (depending on rollers)put better shox on it etc and it was an awesome car and over the past 6 months have been driving my mate rs around(std)wich is a bit better handling( but makes no difference on the road)but very dissapointing in terms of performance compared to my tuned st infact so much so that i couldnt justify buying one even though i realy wanted one before..
As for resale value what do you think they will be worth by the end of 2011 when the new one comes out????at the mo a fully specced one is 29k!!!after the rs 500 there will be no more untill the launch of a new one in 2011,then the current one will be under 20k and neare 15k i expect so cant see much value in that!!!
Get an st spend a few quid on it,will be a proper weapon and will owe you less than 15k and trounce rs s pissing the owners right off!!!LOL
