Lol, I have been meaning to join up for a while but other things have cropped up, ive forgot and never got round to doing it its taken what seems an eternity to get it done (and get write up and pics on here thinking of it lol) but the lights there and its just finishing off. Ill find your thread now ive got time see state of yours, ive been there and it'll be done just got to keep going on it

I would recommend a sand blaster but would have to be powerful enough rip through the paint, some from machine mart just bounce off as we found out depends how good your compresser is to. On mine couldnt afford sand blaster and compresser to do it so used sanding discs on angle grinder to clean off most of the paint from the flat areas then a wire brush mounted on drill to get into the hard to reach bits. Problem doing it that way is it can take you anywhere from a week to two week depending on how long you can spend on it and some places you cant quite get. you'd need about 10 wire wheels to do bottom of car so if i were to do it again that way id look at getting a paint stripper to take the paint off first and then blasting over it quickly with wire wheel. Buying a proper sand blaster is probably the way to go but dont fall for false economy with the cheap things, and good luck on doing it its nice to know theres more being put back on the roads
