thats your problem then. Had this a few times myself with new headlights.

For some strange reason the new replacement 3dr headlights were fitted with the later saff internal looms which dont match the 3dr main loom.

Either swap out the little looms in the new headlights with the ones from the old set ( easy to do) or you have to rewire the new looms to suit.

I did it a few years ago so cannot remember which wires you need to splice, but there is a thread on here somewhere explaining what to do, I will see if I can find it
