Hi there. I just bought a set of coolant hoses for my Escort RST, very cheap off a chap selling me his exhaust. I didn't notice at the time, but one of the hoses has a little damaged on the surface. The top layer of silicone has split, exposing some of the white chord stuff underneath. The rest of the layers are fine. Will this be ok to use on my car do people think? I know with a tyre they say this is very bad, but I'm thinking the worst that will happen is I loose my coolant..!?! Opinions?
