Got a standard one of these on the back of my S2 block that the filter screws into. As I am getting the block rebuilt just now they have suggested replacing this item.

Is this an oil cooler or sandwich plate? (so I have the right terminology lol)

Was thinking of getting one so that I could run oil pressure and temp gauges off it. If so does anyone know the specification of the fittings required i.e thread sizes etc.

Alternatively if I just go for the standard one can someone tell me either the part number or the spec, cheeRS.
