Hi all, I need a new head gasket for a 2litre silvertop Zetec, is one from Ford good enough or is there better for the money, not looking for anything fancy just reliable. I think the last one has gone after only 5k, i was stuck in traffic and when it cleared it was misfiring but cleared after 30 seconds, i pulled over and the header tank was nearly empty but it did not seem to have overheated. I topped it up and drove the mile back to home, i left it running to see if i could find a leak but there was none, i walked round the back and there was white smoke coming out the exhaust. Would the head have warped? i have a spare if it has. Sorry for the long story. Any advice is most welcome. Have a good weekend.
