I would suggest that there is an element of your personality, your competitive side, that gets a sense of satisfaction from the attention your car receives. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that - but to claim that the only reason you buy a car is for your own satisfaction is a slight exaggeration

I'd wager that there's not a person on here who doesn't get a kick out of someone checking their car out.
