Yeah I grasp the cost implications, I just don't 'get' why someone would want one. It's the same with Lambo, or Ferrari copies. Those in the know (I.e the people you're out to impress) will be able to spot a copy a mile off. The only people you'll fool are those who know jack shit about cars.
I dont buy cars to impress anyone except myself I like the shape of those cars they are from my era so personally a replica GT40 could well have been on my short list 30 years ago. If you buy a car to impress people thats rather sad, my cars for me & i developed it for me & I really dont car if other dont like it
. Faced with a Corsa or a Ferrari my Missus & many like here would chose the Corsa & thats a fact, well provided the Corsa was also red. We dont all view the status of cars in the same way.
