the V8 noise would just suit a capri so well, ford should have built one.

the v8 also comes in several displacements too doesnt it!? 3.5 3.9 then thers 4.5 in some cars, maybe even bigger, so if you found a cheap 3.5 you should be able to change the engine over to a bigger one later on?!
