That's it, so many variations......not just the bolt pattern on the engine.

My Mondeo box, although its hydraulic clutch/cable change still has the casting shape for a rod change underneath. Partially explains the different oil capacities.

Incidentally the Mondeo has 3 mounts on the box but no cross member. Front and rear of bellhousing to subframe, and a top one to the side rail. Had to leave the front one off completely because of the turbo, so just filled all the voids in the rear one with steel rod to stiffen it up.
