Hey guys,

Im pretty sure both wires should be connected but all ask anyways. The main red wire is attached but I have a small blue wire hanging near by. What is this for? I know it for alternator as its been snapped off by overtightening but could this be problem being my battery dying all the time. I was going to buy a new battery today and thought Id have a look and found this little problem so if this wire is for charging then possibly wont need a battery? Thanks for any help people
