Think you'll need to drop the cat/decat completely from my experience.

Unfortunately it will take a bit more than a tap to break the pan from the lower crankcase. There's no gasket, it's sealed with silicon gasket compound. Usually its a Stanley knife -> careful chisel use to break the joint.....
