The heat shield way is good. I have a combination of cut back standard shield and exhaust wrap. Probably still have more heatproofing to do as well.
Does ceramic coating make that much difference to the heat radiated from the manifold??

I was thinking of getting my manifold done to make it look a bit smarter more than anything (a bit bufty I know but I hate rusty looking manifolds!!) so if it keeps the underbonnet temps down, that's an added bonus!
