Default help to spec my cosworth 4x4 engine to approx 450bhp

I know there is going to be a million + 1 different options and answers but i thought id ask anyhow,

The thing is my project is costing a vast amount of money to build and i have yet to sort the engine side of things as this is one thing ive never done before, my last engine builds have been done by tommy field (FMS) but at present i just cant afford to hand him a block and head and say ring me when its been dyno'd which is what i would ike to do

i wont be scrimping on parts but i want to try and build the engine up myself this time round, Im after around 450bhp as i dont want to be destroying gearbox's and diffs every 5 minutes which is typical of high power 4x4 cosworths,

main thing i need help with is cam choice as i dont have a clue what means what to be honest but want to learn the differances between bd10/14/16 etc,

the parts i have decided using so far just by reading other peoples specs etc and seeing whats best to start with are as follows -

200 block long studded (6)
4x4 head
standard rods shot peened
standard grind crank fully lightened and balanced/knife edged etc
low comp pistons but no idea what make so opinions needed please
2wd manifold with modded trouser section for external wastegate
gt3071
tial external 44m wastegate with 2.1 bar spring
hart racing plenum with 10mm spacer plate
4x4 throttle body
wrc breather set up
pro alloy rs 500 intercooler and motorsport rad

not sure on management yet but either pectel t2/t6 or life racing f88,

need info on cam choice for 450+ bhp and what injectors to use?

The car will be a sprint/hillclimb/track car so needs to be punchy out the corners with little lag as possible

all info and opinions welcomed.

And i know some of you will say ask your tuner etc but i dont like to waste their time with all these questions and a what spec to go unless im going to them for the work and when its ready to be done etc.

thanks Marc
