same here... i love cooking and am actually proud to say that I do a pretty good job of it usually. problem with the recipe bit for me is that I tend to add ingredients uintil i think it looks/tastes right, rather than adhering to a specific recipe. e.g. sometimes i do chicken in a tomato and balsamic vinegar sauce with slices of aubergine on top then melted mozzarella on top of that... it's lovely imo.. and although I could show you how to cook it, i couldn't tell you!
