If it were me.... I would probably use a short length of wire from the switch like an inch, then s bend the wire so that the connector is sitting under the switch, cable tie or epoxy in place, and plug in..... Your loom should no look as neat as ever and still be the correct length.

Does that make any sense???

you could do with testing if different loads (ie non std fans) effect the switch on temperature if these are a passive device. The ECU does mine, but before that i noticed that different fans could vary the switch on temp.

Its just a thermal switch, a piece of by-metal not sure how drawing a higher or lower current would cause this to switch at a different temp? I could be wrong, i'll look into it lol
