its easy, i start taking the car apart about 11pm(i work better at night), have it stripped by 2am, normally i paint over the old paint but now iv started to nitromorse the cars, takes about 2 hours to clean paint off, then i scrubbed it with a toothbrush & fairy liquid to get the rest of the nitromorse off, rinse fairy liquid off, quick dry with good kitchen roll, then sit it on radiator for 5/10mins to dry(not letting the car get too hot) then prime the car, stick it under a fan heater while turning it now and again so it don't burn or get too hot, then give it some more primer & more heat, then when thats dry, put 1st coat of paint on then heat then do it a couple more times till it look right, then leave car for about 20mins, then i normally put the lights, bumpers & wipers in 1st, by then the car will be more dryer but paint still soft, hold car in place's that didnt get much paint e.g under the roof, gently put all the bits back in & one complete car! its easy once explained+practice!, iv done alot of models, not just cars, i made a huge model of the QM2 by revell(all was spray painted)
the escort & capri are the 1st cars iv fully painted since well over a year ago!

Have you got the right tools?, i find jewler screwdriver's very important for pushing out bits like bumpers, lights etc(its a pain when the whole bits superglued in place), i also use the screwdrivers to wright car reg's
