now i was going to change the cambelt and have been to EK Brakes who told me it doesent have a timming belt it has a timming chain, ive checked the engine number with the engine number from EK Brakes and they are the same , do these chains last the life of the car ?

If so it's got a timing belt.
Like any black-top zetec the tappets need adjusting every 95000 miles or so as it hasn't got hydraulic ones.
