Unless your cam thrust plate is worn to buggery ie grooved and chewed up, it will be fine.
Do you mean cam bolt in the centre of the pulley ?, if so will be ok just don't overtighten and use a torque wrench.
If you are reffering to a nut, if it's a nylock nut, with plastic/nylon insert just use a new one, they're only pennies.
