right, they can be blanked off,but not removed, if yours has wire on the end of the EGR then you might and i stress might have a problem with the engine managment light coming on (glowplug light) as said, £3.00 off ebay, 25 mins to fit max even at an amature level.

When/if you fit one you woud well to clean out the inlet manifold aswell as these clog up just like the EGR and lead to poor MPG.
