Gearboxes are better on the B series, the engines lighter, fits straight in, which is a big bonus as shaft angles on the H are never optimum. Things like this are important when you want more power.

The H series make less power per litre, while been slightly bigger capacity they don't really make any more power, just torque a wider lower powerband, which isn't really need on a fwd.
