I work for honda and if i had a pound for everytime we had someone come in to show us there turbo'd or supercharged civic and then come back in two weeks to show us how many pieces the engine blew into i would be a very rich man.

We turbo'd over 20 last year without a single failure.
I think 1 or 2 are members on here.
Sounds like there not getting them tuned correctly. (send them my way in future and they'll last a LOT longer)
We've got 4 cars running over 400bhp on bone stock engines. The other 15 or so are running 300 and another couple over 350.
