not a stupid question at all mate
I run one wire to the projector which is a rca type connection, this goes straight back to my RCA visual out on the DVD, however if I want to watch Sky I just put this into a 3-1 scart convertor with an RCA connector and can plug sky, video, even DVD in and just press the 'flick' button depending on what I want to watch, but I choose to run it direct to the DVD when watching DVD just for quality purposes
