I'm new to forums but would like some help please.

Will a engine from a 1999 escort van fit into my 1997 fiesta van as my cambelt has snapped both are 1.8d ?

Also in my escort van the heaters blow only warm air when put on full but if turned off for a few mins and then put on full it is hot for a few seconds, would this be the heater control valve if the 99 had on or the thermostat.
