Danny, all graphics cards nowaday are AGP.
without getting too techy... this is just a universal slot...
tiffs computer will have an AGP slot (probably with nothing plugged into it as his is currently onboard) it will be the only socket that the card will fit into. (or if it does have a card plugged in, unplug this card and plug in new one)
he simply plugs the card into this socket, and plugs the monitor into the card (ignoring the old monitor connector) and 99 times out of 100 thats it...
worse case scenario you have to disable the onboard card for the new one to work as the primary adapter, but ive never seen a PC that dont do this automatically for you.
als thats left after that is loading on the drivers disk (or do what i do n download the latest drivers off the net, as they get updated very often) and bobs your mothers brother
