join the club i have a 28" wega good tellies in there day
and depends the size of ya front room thier picture is fine cos your far away from it cos the room is massive
but it would be lost and overkill in my place
and the fact i doubt my wall would take the weight
I think the major plus between LCD and Plasma is the colour, plasmas colours are so deep and rich
If you want 40" plus go plasma if u want 32" ish go LCD IMO or if you have a wall thats free with no paintings pictures etc maybe a DLP projector
but then again they have there down sides light etc
The next big thing is wireless speakers
