What a strange comment, especially considering you are talking about old F1 engines that are no harder to build than a decent YB anyway in most cases.
A modern F1 engine is a totally different beast and im confident Joe wouldnt have a clue what he was doing with one just like the rest of us wouldnt.
When you start using the term "F1" it implies you are right at the forefront of modern technology, so when you actually mean you are just bolting back together an engine from 30 years ago that you have had nothing to do with the development of and are just treating like a basic mechano kit, its really giving a false impression IMHO
