No, it really is a 3 door with a t4, there is nothing on the car other than the log book that really makes it much better than a 3 door in most peoples eyes, anyone after a car to drive hard is more likely to go for a 3 door, the rs500 are now kind of considered "precious" and whats the point on having a great performing car and then not being able to use it cause you need to maintain the condition to such an extent?
I dont think he was having a go, he was just being honest, 8 injector setup simply isnt needed theses days with decent low impedance injectors available in so many different flow rates, in fact with proper management you could actually argue that 4 injectors is better than 8 anyway, the minor cosmetic differences arent going to be worth a lot to most people, and a decent 200 block is more than strong enough for most peoples needs and readily available so why have the expense of dealing with rs500 blocks when you dont need to?
Personally i could happily afford one but would never buy one cause i would wreck it, cause frankly i drive like an animal.
