I know there are various threads about this but none of them ever seem to post if they have solved the problem or not???

Right, here we go,

My st170 stutters/misfires/jumps at around 4K revs. In neutral it wont rev to the limit either.

There are NO management lights on the dash and the IMCR module is working as ive checked by riving the car and watching the flap end move. I am getting it put on diagnostics tomorrow to see if that shows anything.

I am begining to think this could be the fuel pump but at £170 i want to make sure first before I shell out on one.
