Hey, dont format it!

When HP built your pc, they divided your hard drive into 2 sections. One section is setup as normal, and the other is hidden or locked so virus's cant tamper with it. Inside the hidden or locked partition, it will contain the windows installation files incase you need to restore your computer after a serious crash or want to returning back to how it left the factory deleting everything you put on it.

It's been a while since i've seen a HP system, but some where in the programs menu, it should have a HP or system recovery section, check the options there.
It may say delete old restore points/backups.
