You might be better off in long run cutting your losses and replacing the loom with a ryan loom or similar.
original one in the car,this is the first problem ive had with it so far wiring wise.

The connectors are around £3, I have loads if you need one/any.
The problem is that when they start making intermittant contact it causes micro arcing making the connection even worse, you can try with a pin squeezing the female grip side together a bit tighter, and put a slight bend in the pin side.

nice one pal ill check that because it had a new cps a while ago and paul rs told me to check that aswell but i never did.
