Ok, i probably already know the answer to this, BUT!
If i fit a FMIC to my Orion and replace the standard intercooler will it throw the fueling etc out? or will it sit there quite happily and reduce charge temps? I wont be touching the boost side of things, nor fueling, JUST replacing the std Ford Intercooler with a full front mount.
Ollie at NMS told me it was the only thing holding my engine back, and not to thrash it much in 3rd, and never in 4th and 5th because i'd melt something again. i've kept to my promise, mainly cos i cant afford another NMS engine build

but now i have one will it do any good if i just bolt it on? can it give me piece of mind OR will i do damage? i've no idea really.
i'm expecting probably not, but it saves it being in the shed for a few months until i get a new turbo to bolt on and head up to nms again for a new setup.
Cheers, Joe.
*edit* just to add, i'm not after more power from it etc, just as i said above if it would reduce temps abit then is it worthwhile?
