reversing lights not working, escort van wiring help needed

Nice van runs nicely had a recon engine 5k ago, So just running her in, Problem i have is the reversing lights don't work either side, A mate has tested both sides with a meter and dead as a dildo,
So basicly i want to try and find out what colour in the loom is for the reversing light or what pins, So basicly i can connect directly to a switch in the front to put the reversing lights on.
Could anyone help me out with this,
Also someone has put a towbar and hacked into the wiring, Before i go the measure of hacking into the loom, I am going to rip out the trailer wiring and rejoin the original loom with butt connectors, That might actual fix it to ?
