RWD = fun/dangerous in anything other than perfect dry for your average driver (and lets be honest 99.9% of pF drivers are average and not the drifting gods they make out to be

4wd = fast/safer
Id rather have 4wd knowing i will likely have a car that i can drive through a wet winter and likely not have smashed it up going backwards through a hedge/wall/shop window etc. Where as with a powerful RWD car most drivers would end up either having to drive really slowly (wheres the fun in that?

) or accept the fact you either cant drive it much in wet or accept the massively increased chances of bashing it in.
We are after all talking about almost 30 year old suspension/handling design with NO driver aids. a RWD old ford is not like a modern BMW with all the driver aids that mean even a old lady can drive in the wet and not die!
