your best bet mate to be honest is to take everything of the shell buy some nitro morse soak the car in it strip all the paint off to bare shell then give the car a right good clean in soapy water a few times then use some alchohol wipes on the car use some acrylic primer taking your time dont over do it and try using a hairdryer to heat up the shell and the paint will apply even and smoothly and bond on impact due to the heat them leave an hour or 2 then gently rub over the primer with some 1200 grit wet and dry using hot soapy water again let the shell dry using a hair dryer again to warm the metal also drying out all the little crevises wipe over ith an alchohol wipe again then apply the paint same as primer hold the can around 12" away from the model and spray evenly that way you should get a nice smooth shiny even finish and will make the model display far better.
i realise reading it is easier than doing it but if you take your time mate it will work out good luck and get some pics up when done always a good idea to have paint stripper sand paper alchohol wipes primer paint and laquer in if your planning on doing a model as you never know when you will need them lol

thanks mate i did strip it jus neva bare metal strip lol mite do tha but ive super glued everthin bak on coz i cudnt be botherd wid it but mite have another go and once dun ill get piks but nothin spech everythin same except will be diff colour the sun roof filling didnt work as i had to remove wind screen to paint car :/ have broke wing mirrors lights r ruined coz of brake fluid and still only crap wheels but i took seat out and put a new sock over it then glued it looks good :P i also found a 1/26 i think mustang which was my cuzzins and have 2 bucket seats with harnesses 2 nos bottles will look good in 1/18 scale car and a good steering wheel if any body intersested thers also 3 v spoked wheels bak 1ns fatter than front but missing a front 1
