Paki is an offensive term, if it is used in an offensive way. If you call someone from Pakistan a Paki, then its an accurate description.

Somone from Britain is a Brit, Scottish are Scots, Australians are Aussies, Afghanistanians are Afghans...

I dont get how anyone can be offended by an accurate description.

Im fat, I dont get offended if people call me fat, unless its meant in a context that means they think I am less of a person than they are.

i.e. "Do you know Anna, the fat chick with the fiesta" - doesnt bother me. "move out of the way you fat cow" - does

We could go into how I can change my weight and people cant change their race blah blah blah, but fundamentally, if you are using an accurate term to describe someone, they should not take offense to it.
