Glad to see someone else swearing at the internet!

I'm having issues at home too. Tried AOL, BT, etc and everything is fine with the line. I'm connecting to the net (did it whilst on the phone to AOL).
Trouble is that even though I boot up the computer, I've still to disconnect the router, wait 45/50 secs, then plug it back on again TWICE before it will actually show the net (although it says it's connected & AOL says that too).
Damn Netgear. My bro (IT techy) is away for a month too, which is a pain in the hoop!
