Thats the browser theory out the window as some suggested.

Ive just been on the phone, cancelled my Bt business, as I cant payŁ85 per 1/4 any more for sod all service.

Changing to BT phone and broadband, they are sending a home hub, so will see if this is going to make a difference over ths old linksys router thingy.

Still tempted to get Bt out. We live about 1 mile out from our village, we are the only house up here. the phone line goes direct from the exchange to our house and ends here. So dont know if this will make it harder to get it sorted as maybe im "less priority"?

No doubt one of the tractors has ploughtd up the cable or water is getting in of one of the fields into a service man hole. I think this may be my problem!
