The GTI label was just a gimmick by ford as it only meant bodykit and half leathers apart from that its just a Si ,without going silly moneywise a good quality exhaust and air filter will improve things and maybe a upgrade to a 2 litre throttle body and maf will add a couple of bhp,if you want to spend money on it then I would go for the 130ps set up of cams etc from some of the older Si models ,as the 2 litre conversion is not worth the aggro as you will still be sub 150 bhp anyway,down to money fella as you can turbo them but you wont get much change out of £1000 for that install ,heres mine below at this years FITP
