I use auctionsniper.com - great for unattended bidding
I must win 95% of my auctions that way.
It also lets you set up bid groups - i.e. I set up bids on 5 EE PC 901's with a max bid of £220 to go in 5 secs before the end. First three went above £220 before the end so auction sniper didn't bid for me, won the 4th one for £185 and it canceled the fifth one I was looking at - i.e. with a bid group it cancels all the other bids if you win one - well it doesn't cancel them - it just wont bid. All set up in about 5 mins and no need to sit at your comp screen pressing refresh every 10 secs
In fact, I won it whilst I was on the bog
new years just gone i got a front/rear rs2000 bumpers and skirts for £50 cos i was the only bugger at 12.30 to be on his phone watching the auction
When i sell something I always set it to end at 8pm on a Sunday night for that very reason. If you look at the ebay site visitor stats it always peaks at 8pm on a Sunday. Other big peak is 10am Saturday - I guess as people are waking up and checking thier auctions.
