i think i must of got lucky i did mine first time, i sprayed the sump with brake cleaner and gunk to clean it, and use a little bit of flange sealent to stick the gasket to the sump and used the old bolts to line the holes up, left it for half an hour then put it on, did it hand tight using new bolt with locktite on em then gave em all a quick 90 degree turn, and aint had no leaks
