Are you sure? I'm sure after a good few hours you body goes into a catabolic state which i think is when the body starts using the protein stored in your muscles as a source of energy. Although i'm certainly no expert
The human body can go 3 days without food before it starts to eat muscle. Though it may use some of the muscle over the first 3 days but where it massively starts to effect is after 3 days.
