Wasnt sure about the gear, didnt want to turn up to a track with all new gear and no idea, look like a right fudd, know what I mean? lol
To be honest mate you'd look worse if you turned up to a track without it. In fact most tracks wont even let you on without the essentials anyway. You can pick gear up cheap enough on ebay.
