Right, always fancied getting a motocross bike for a giggle, talked my mate into getting one too so we can fling them in his van and go get muddy now and again!

So knowing naff all about the bikes, what engine size to go for or what model etc, is where you lot come in

What's a good bike to start with, KX, RM, CR, YZ? KTM??? quite liking the CR's 125's dont look that fast unlelss in the power band?

Not sure how much to spend on one either, under a grand anyway i'd imagine, as no doubt it'll get dropped a few times!

Any suggestions/pointers, not just on what bike to get but just motocross in general
