tbh stu i think that that pectel ecu, and hence the perception of this thread, goes into way too much detail for the average diy'er.
most people are happy running their engine on something as complicated as L6 or L8, and you know better than most that to master mapping something of that complexity takes some time, nevermind introducing many more maps to correct for this, that and the other.
