I would be carefull with footman james, they are good untill you have to claim, my father has a completely standed Morris Minor traverler, never restored with 40,000 miles on the clock, going to a car show it had a small loom fire, anyway contacted footman james they sent an asesser and he said it should be fine.

when we spoke to footman james they said we had to get quotes on the vehicle which is difficult with a non runner so the vehicle was recovered to a specialist in kent, the specialist gave a decent quote and was in contact with the insurance who said all sounds fine so he went ahead with the work, then the underwriter decided it wasnt covered because a wiring loom is not a structerule part of the car and we were left with a bill for £1000 for a job that would have cost £150 in parts and a weekends work.
