This is so true, my dad had a stroke few years ago. Basicly lost use of his left side and his swallowing, had pneumonia cos of aspirating,coma the works. Long story short they called me in 5 times as "he was about to pass away" and he never
once at 1 in the morning i got the call, get down here asap by the time i got there he was sat up in bed laughing and joking.
